About Expressions Inc

Expressions was founded in 2000 by Jim and Mary Bittle in Knightdale, NC . Art framed at the home based business was loaded on a truck for retail to individuals at banks, hair salons, and other locations where Expressions was invited to sale. Spaces at community shows/festivals and at the NC State Fairground were also used to grow the business. After a couple of years of running the business out of the back of our truck, Expressions decided to root its sales in a permanent location. Jim and Mary chose to open a retail location in the Carolina Outlet Center in Smithfield, NC, just off of I-95. However, the retail truck routes were maintained as a supplement to the retail store.
In 2003, Expressions decided to take on a new sales plan. It changed truck sales over to wholesale only, closed the retail store, and became Expressions Inc. Expressions Inc quickly grew into what it has become today by focusing on providing high quality framed art at great low prices to Christian bookstores and furniture stores nation wide. Expressions Inc aspires to treat all our clients in the same manner that we would have them treat us and in a way that is honoring to our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the foundation of all that we are and who we can attribute our success. In the past few years, the Log Home/Rustic Living markets have focused our art sales to mostly bear, moose, and wildlife prints, but inspite of this nitch market we pride ourselves on carrying a wide variety of art styles. We also have seen a large demand for cowboy/western art and have joined with The Jerrys in Dallas, TX and DeEtta Mathisen in Denver, CO to help better serve our clients in the western half of our nation.
